College Drive Construction
The project is being done in cooperation with the Crow Wing County and the City of Baxter.
The project involves College Drive from CSAH 48 to the intersection of S 5th & Quince.
The project involves upgrading the College Drive corridor from a three lane road to a four lane divided roadway.
A combination of traffic signals and roundabouts will be used for traffic control at intersections.
A trail and sidewalk will be installed to provide safer pedestrian movement through the corridor.
Work involved includes grading, curb and gutter, paving, storm sewer, sidewalk construction, trail construction, signal upgrades,
roundabout construction, retaining walls and landscaping.

Construction Updates
On September 19, 2011, the Brainerd City Council awarded the contract to Anderson Brothers Construction of Brainerd.
Some minor construction work will begin this Fall. The work will involve grading and installing a gravel road behind the apartments
on the north side of College Drive between SW 6th and SW 4th. The Contractor will also be working with local utility companies to
relocate utilities as needed. All work this Fall will be behind the curb with minimal impact to traffic.
