To make a reservation, call or e-mail the Parks and Recreation Department at 218-828-2320 /  Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  We begin taking reservations in January for the calendar year.  A two-day minimum stay is required on weekends and holidays. A one-day, non-refundable deposit is required for holidays, NHRA Nationals weekend and groups of three or more sites. We do our best to honor site requests, however specific campsites are not guaranteed and we reserve the right to assign you to another site. The City of Brainerd reserves the right to release any site after 4 p.m. unless a late check-in was requested. You must call by 4:00 on Friday for a late Saturday or Sunday check-in. Online reservations are not available at this time.

Daily Rates (Taxes Included)

Daily check-in is at 1 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m. Fees are as follows:

  • Standard rate:  Sun-Thu: $50   Fri-Sat-Holiday:  $55
  • 65+/Active Military/Veteran rate:  Sun-Thu: $45   Fri-Sat-Holiday:  $50
  • Off-Season rate (electricity/Wi-Fi only):  $25
  • Firewood:  $5 per armload
  • Dump Station:  $5 (no charge to our guests)

General Information

The campground is open May 1 to October 31. Tent camping is not allowed. We do not offer weekly, monthly or seasonal rates. Campsites average 40 feet by 55 feet in size. There is 30 and 50-amp electric and water hook-ups, free Wi-Fi, fire rings and picnic tables at each site. 

The campground payment and shower key drop box is located next to the dump station. The campground host will accept cash or checks. Dump station and firewood payments can go in the drop box. Credit card payments are accepted by calling 218-828-2320 during regular office hours. 

Water/dump station/restrooms/showers will be shut down in October when freezing nighttime temperatures are a possibility. The off-season rate applies when water amenities are shut down. Electricity and Wi-Fi are on through October 31.

To reduce the risk of tree disease, only firewood purchased from our campground is allowed in the park. If the campground host is not available, please use the payment drop box.
