A memorial tree or bench is a meaningful, lasting way to remember or honor a loved one, commemorate a special event or make a donation to beautify our city parks. Memorial trees can be planted in any of our city parks, with custom engraved granite plaques available at Gregory Park. Department staff will recommend preferred species of trees to purchase and will plant your tree.
Memorial benches are custom engraved, and department staff will install your bench. Please review the Memorial Tree and Bench Policy (page 2 of the PDF form below) for guidelines about tree requirements and placement of trees and benches within the park system.
Please complete and submit the Memorial Tree and Bench Form (PDF). Fees are collected when an order is placed.
- Memorial Bench - cost is approximately $1,500 which includes the concrete base and installation. We will request a price quote from our vendor prior to placing an order.
- Memorial Tree Plaque - cost is $35 (Gregory Park only)
