The Crow Wing County Tactical Response Team is a multi-jurisdictional team comprised of members from the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, Brainerd Police Department, Baxter Police Department, Nisswa Police Department, and Crosby Police Department. The Tactical Response Team also has tactical medics from North Ambulance and the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, which includes a surgeon. The Brainerd Police Department currently has four officers on the team, as well as two Crisis Negotiators that are attached to the team.
The team currently trains twice a month. Each member is required to pass a physical fitness test three times a year, along with tactical weapons training quarterly.
